Newegg Integrated Carrier List
About
For the best shopping experience, Newegg provides tracking information for customers to find out where their orders are and when they will receive them. The package trackable ratio is one of the critical performance metrics that Newegg Marketplace uses to evaluate the seller’s service level performance. In order for Newegg to consider any carriers to be authorized, the tracking and delivery rate must be at 90% or greater. Therefore, it is important to always ship orders with a carrier where the tracking information provided is traceable and supported by Newegg Marketplace.
Newegg advises against “drop shipping” selling behavior. Carriers such as Amazon are only traceable if shipments are generated from MCF in which sellers own the inventory and use their fulfillment services to generate shipments.
Drop-Shipping May Result in Non-Payment
A known issue for “drop shipping” products from sites like Amazon is that their carrier service does not make tracking information available except in specific circumstances. For example, shipping without tracking is problematic for Newegg’s Marketplace sellers. It will result in non-payment due to a lack of traceable tracking information and the inability to confirm whether the seller shipped the order or that the buyer received it. Amazon does provide traceable tracking but only for shipments generated from MCF in which sellers own the inventory and use Amazon’s fulfillment services to create shipments.
NOTE: As of September 2023, no additional requests for carriers will be added to this list. Sellers need not request this service. Please understand your seller metrics will be impacted if non-authorized carriers are used.
